Amazon.com Product Description A great choice for the kitchen or adding to your child's room with its removable base, the 15-inch Audiovox FPE1506DV LCD TV is also multi-tasker with integrated, slot-loading DVD player, multi-format memory card reader, and the ability to be used in a vehicle (powered by the included cigarette lighter adapter). The FPE1506DV has a 4:3 standard definition aspect ratio and a 1024 x 768-pixel resolution. It also offers aspect ratio controls that enable you to watch widescreen, high-definition programming (1080i/720p/480p/480i) when connected to an optional receiver or cable/satellite set-top box via the component video inputs. You can also use this set as a PC monitor via the VGA connection. Other features include built-in 181-channel NTSC tuner, removable tilt stand, closed captioning, V-chip parental controls, and SRS surround sound. It provides the following connections: - Composite audio/video In: 1

- Headphone: 1
Tech Talk Component video (also called Y/Pb/Pr) features a three-jack video input, which provides separate connections for luminance (Y), blue color difference (PB) and red color difference (PR). This results in increased bandwidth for color information, resulting in a more accurate picture with clearer color reproduction and less bleeding than you would get with S-Video or composite (RCA yellow video plug) connections. You will need a separate RCA left/right audio cable for sound. What's in the Box LCD TV with DVD player, composite A/V cable, AC-to-DC power adapter, vehicle power adapter, remote control (with batteries), removable stand, printed operating instructions

well worth the money August 10, 2008 Amy Jones (North Augusta, SC) We bought this TV. The 1st one did not work so we were able to send it back and have it replaced. This new one I gave to my 16 yr. old daughter and she loves it. You can put a memory card in it or watch movies, plug it in the car to watch because it has a plug for the car. Well worth the money for her.
Certainly decent for what it is July 12, 2007 NCTejana (Texas, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought mine by auction and find it works well enough as a bedroom TV (you have to be reasonable in your expectations of a 15" screen for a TV). Originally, I intended to use it as both a TV and as a monitor, and I think if I were doing that, I might give it a better rating, as its versatility is handy. The picture seems a bit fuzzy no matter how much I adjust the settings with the remote or physically adjust the tilt, so I have to wonder how well it would do as a monitor. It is fairly full-featured as a TV, and the remote is lightweight but long enough to accommodate various dedicated buttons and to be found pretty easily when misplaced. I particularly appreciated having a dedicated CC button; I'm actually surprised that I still see TVs in this price range without such a button on the remote. It's attractive, lightweight, and works well as a DVD player so far. I only hooked it up as a monitor once (on a computer I ended up returning), so I only can verify that it does work as one, without being able to evaluate how well. I wish the volume went up higher; I often work on a computer in another room and like to be able to monitor my shows from here, and I find that difficult with this TV. I find that when I have subtitles on, they sometimes are hard to read from the distance at which I watch the TV (as opposed to closed captions, which I find generally readable on this unit), but that's partly a function of the screen size and the fact that I'm using it as a bedroom TV rather than in a close-range setting, so it's not entirely Audiovox's fault. Overall, I'm not horribly disappointed and don't feel I wasted all my money. I do wonder whether with enough knowledge I might have been able to search out a better unit with this combination of features, and I'm not sure I'd pay that price again for this unit if there were others out there with better picture. Nonetheless, when one considers the versatility and the elimination of the need for a separate DVD player, it turns out to be a decent deal ... especially if you can get a like-new one at a secondhand price!
Great Design January 18, 2007 lb (Carpinteria, CA USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This TV/DVD has it all and I've have looked hard. Great LCD picture (viewed straight on like most LCDs) integrated DVD player, SD card reader, all of that plus it runs on 12V for the car and 180 channel ready. As far as I've seen it's the only 15" that does all that and more. (They also make an 8" with the same specs but not 180 channels). Sound isn't "big" and bassy but it's OK. Also it came from Beach Camera and the first unit I got had a bad pixel in the middle. Beach Camera replaced it very quickly and politely with free 2 day shipping.
Everything I hoped it would be and more January 10, 2007 Pamela Van Tassel (Walton, KY) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I bought this TV/DVD player for my husband for christmas. Being somewhat electronically challenged, especially where the abbreviations are concerned, I was hoping that I had bought what I presumed. He on the other hand, knows all about electronics and likes to have the best. He was extremely pleased with all of the features and picture quality. I bought it for our kitchen where we watch with our morning coffee. This is an excellent product.
Great TV for our RV January 9, 2007 J. R. Ferguson 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I got this TV for our RV. I wall mounted it on a folding arm mount. It offers 12v power input for use when AC isn't available. The DVD player works great right out of the box, as does the card reader. It also plays jpg CD's etc. Setup is simple. Absolutely no problems in the few months I have had it. I love this TV for my application.
