The F27650's three-line comb filter further enhances picture quality by removing blurred edges between colors and reducing dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a sharp color separation in a vertical line, as in depiction of a striped T-shirt). Also, the set's G-LINK Connector allows the GUIDE Plus+ GOLD System to work with a VCR (enabling one-touch record) and cable box (providing the ability to tune directly to a station while the program guide is on a TV screen). Auto color balance resets the individual picture tube guns (red, green, blue) to maintain consistent overall picture quality for the life of the tube, and auto color control maintains natural tones and color fidelity from channel to channel and scene to scene. I have this TV and it currently is being used as my cats pedastool. This TV is great when it works! The picture is bright and vivid, sound is great.
When it doesn't work, most of the time, the picture jumps, turns to black and white, sometimes there is no picture; black screen with audio.
I recommend going with another TV. This one is too frustrating to deal with and not worth the money.

I bought this TV two years ago. Now when I turn it on the sound comes but I have no video. I hope i can get something for it in a pawn shop!!!!

I bought the RCA F27650 27" TV and the sound stopped working within the first 4 months. I took it to an RCA approved store to fix the problem. They kept the TV for over a month before even getting back to me with an estimate. They never attempted to contact me, and I had to call several times just to find out what the problem was. The parts were all covered, but just the labor alone was going to cost me as much as the TV cost origionally. I am now the proud owner of a soundless TV that is of no use except for keeping up space in my shed. I will never buy an RCA again.

Well, I bought this tv based on the reviews on this site.
I do have to say that the reviewers are very easy to please.
Anyway: this tv DOESN'T look like a flat screen at all, the picture has a clear distortion converging to the center of the screen - the horizontal lines next to the borders will look curved-.
Quite disappointing since I have a panasonic way older (not a flat screen) that displays better images.
I will try to change it.

This TV is not only a great bargain on price and quality, but has a great look ..many friends who had seen it think is actually a flat screen TV, and actually looks even larger than normal 27"..the only downside is that it has a poooooor TV Tuner reception, so if you get this TV you should get cable or satellite service!
