Product Description More color, for a more colorful image. Mitsubishi is taking color to a new level with x.v.Color support and its exclusive 6-Color Light Engine . x.v.Color is the new standard for HDTV and it enables 80% more color than standard HDTV! Mitsubishi's 6-Color Light Engine processes and produces images with six different colors instead of the traditional three to display a wider range of colors, brighter colors and whiter whites. Additional color features such as Color 4D Noise Reduction, PerfectColor and PerfecTint allow for additional advanced color processing and adjustment. The result is breathtaking realism with vivid, yet natural Color Without Compromise.Larger screen, not larger spaces. The 65-inch 833 Diamond 1080p DLP HDTV features Mitsubishi's unique TurboLight180 lamp system and Plush1080p processing for both unsurpassed detail in over two million pixels and for bright, vibrant images. Mitsubishi's Smooth120Hz minimizes motion blur especially in fast moving action scenes. The Diamond's stunning high definition picture is further enhanced by its sleek and modern look finished in black pearl. Mitsubishi's compact, simple design provides more picture with less frame. With 1080p and a compact cabinet, get a larger screen and sit closer than ever before! Go ahead and get into the action, immerse yourself.

Amazing HD viewing!! October 6, 2008 Xrays (Macon, Georgia) I still can't believe this is a DLP, not an LCD on steroids! We have had this for a few weeks, but just got HD cable last week. We have been very impressed with its image clarity and color richness. We also have a Samsung 46 inch lcd at 75 Hz,which has a very good picture, but I like the Mitsubishi's more. As a family, we now watch sports and dvd's on the Mitsubishi for the image quality. I must also note that both TV's are in rooms with a lot of natural light, and they are both quite good at maintaining image brightness.
Great TV May 2, 2008 Tony C. (San Diego, CA USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
After reviewing several rear projection TVs for months, I was down to two Mitsubishi and Samsung. I picked this Mitsubishi TV because of the size 65" and all the features it has. I delayed on purpose reviewing this TV so I can get to know and see how it performs. It has been more then a month and I can say that there are no disappointments with it yet.
Awesome TV March 13, 2008 Richard Myers (Streator, IL) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I researched a lot of tv's before committing to the diamond series Mitsubishi wd 65833. I figured I did not need a thin tv as I was using a stand anyway to hold my other components so I went for the bigger picture with dlp technology. This set only has one competitor and that would be Sony's 60 inch sxbr rear projection set. My son has the Sony, and I bought the Mitsubishi. I have had no problems from day one (got the set early jan 08)The picture is the best I have ever seen on a tv this large. There was mention of a fan noise which I have yet to hear but I have worked in a factory for 33 years so the hearing ain't what it used to be. I would recomend this set to anyone looking for a great tv for not a lot of money. Get it soon so you can watch the Cardinals in grand style this summer!
Mitsubishi Scraping the Bottom! February 28, 2008 Music Man (Nebraska) 2 out of 31 found this review helpful
Mitsubishi was once a premium line for large screen products. Their quality and customer service have hit rock bottom. The quality is questionable and its doubtful that their products produce the 1080p image that they claim. Buyer beware. They have lost my loyalty and my business. There are too many other high quality offerings to choose from such as Sony, Samsung and Sharp. Don't be taken by Mitsubishi. You've been warned.
Pretty darn good! January 24, 2008 Wendy Partridge (Centerville, Utah United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I upgraded from a Panasonic 50' LCD, that had an awesome picture. This one tops it by far. I did a lot of research before deciding on which TV I was going to purchase, comparing models, and the picture quality on this model was far above and beyond the competitors. This TV is also quiet. On the Panasonic I could hear the cooling fans while the TV was on. It never bothered me, but I can't hear a thing on this TV. It was made for High Definition. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the picture quality blurs a bit or is pretty grainy when you have less than a high definition signal. It can be modified some by the controls, and it's not annoying enough to give me a moment of regret in the purchase. I've hooked it up to an upconverting DVD player as well as a Blu-ray player (I know the Blu-ray also upconverts)and the picture from both on this TV are awesome! The screen is huge. I like how it doesn't have speakers on the side taking away some of the screen space. I would recommend this to anyone, it is so much fun.
